Welcome to Wrigglers Baby Yoga Class Lanarkshire

All you need to know

The details …

Embarking on the journey of Wrigglers baby yoga boasts a number of benefits that extend far beyond the mat. This practice is more than just an activity; it's a fantastic way to enhance the bond between parent and child, creating a unique communication channel that supports understanding and empathy from an early age. Classes run weekly in both Hamilton and Airdrie.

Wrigglers Baby yoga aids in the baby's physical development, encouraging muscle strength, flexibility, and coordination in a gentle yet effective manner. It also plays a pivotal role in aiding digestion and alleviating discomfort from gas and colic, promoting overall well-being and longer, more peaceful sleep cycles.

Moreover, this nurturing exercise paves the way for babies to explore movement in a safe, supportive environment, laying the foundation for healthy, active lifestyles as they grow. Engaging in baby yoga is an investment in your child's future, supporting their physical, emotional, and social development with every pose.

This is a great class for parent and baby to play and enjoy each other. We open class with a little update to see how everyone is getting on - typically this allows us to cover topics like sleep, starting solids and teething etc.
The Wrigglers weekly class will help you to learn how to use a variety of tools such as:

  • baby massage

  • baby yoga

  • rhythm

  • rhyme

  • story

  • (baby) sensory experiences

All of these fabulous tools will help to aid your baby’s development, your connection and have fun together!
This class can help build flexibility and strength for your baby’s physical milestones as well as stimulating their proprioceptive and vestibular senses for sensory development.

Our soft stretch / yoga routine is accompanied by a combination of familiar songs. Singing to babies helps their language development and they love it!

  • I attended Tinies and Wrigglers with my son Julies classes were a lifeline. She is so knowledge, warm and friendly. Her classes create communities and a lot of the mums who attended the baby classes in 2020 still keep in touch (about our now 3 year toddlers!)

  • Julie's classes were the highlight of our week bonding with my baby, but even more so getting to know the other Mums and finding out everything I was going through or questioning, they were too. Most Mums stayed in the cafe for a cuppa / cake / lunch afterwards and we found our tribe. I've made life long friends through all of this, and become a much more confident Mum.
